How to change your name in facebook

Facebook gives you a 3 more chances to change your name. This extra chance is to change your name if you have entered your name incorrectly during the joining or your name had changed afterwards. There are some general rules in entering your name.

• Only characters are allowed.
• No special symbols are allowed.
• Characters of a single language is allowed.
• First name and last name must be added.

Facebook has a limit for changing your name. This is to make sure that you have entered your name correctly and to avoid unwanted changing in name.

Follow these simple steps :

step 1: Click on the arrow button on top right of the screen

step 2: Select Account Setting and you will be redirected to the Account Settings page. Click on the edit next to your name.

Step 3: Fill in the details and save...

  Facebook will change your name only after 24hr due to verification process.
You can also use an alternative name. Alternative names are used as nicknames to let your friends find you easily..
